POLICIES, PROCEDURES, AND HELPFUL INFORMATION

Paid and/or Credit Bearing (Health & Safety, SAC Classes, STEAM, Professional Development, Conference) Policies 

◆ All services and accommodations must be requested at least thirty (30) days in advance. Reasonable modifications will be made.  

Only those registered will be allowed into the event space.

AI technology is not permitted in training spaces.

Participants’ must keep their cameras on, remain in frame, sign-in, and actively participate to earn NYS OCFS training credit.

Participants may not participate while operating a moving vehicle or while supervising children, and will result in removal from the training.

Refunds will not be given to anyone removed from a training for failure to comply with Network event policies.

Upon registration, payment is mandatory.

Please note that registrations are non-refundable. Registrations may be considered for transfer to another individual for the same event if given at least two weeks advance notice. NOTE: Registrations for Health and Safety courses may NOT be transferred.

A $25 fee will be charged on all returned payments.

Training spaces may be closed after the first fifteen minutes of the training. Entrance may not be permitted after this time.

Trainers have the right and responsibility to refuse credit for attendance to anyone who does not stay for the entire session, or who does not participate fully. Participants missing any portion of the training may be asked to leave the training space.

Awardees of EIP scholarships will be responsible for refunding EIP should they not attend any or a portion of the training event.

If the format of an event (ex: face-to-face/in-person is changed to a virtual event), no refunds will be given.

If an event is canceled due to a natural disaster, public health crisis, or other act of nature, the Network to reschedule events affected by these circumstances.

The Network utilizes the Zoom platform for virtual training. Participants are expected to have updated software and be familiar with the platform features.

Participants must remain engaged to earn NYS OCFS training credit.

Webinars (Advocacy, JEDI, Sustainability) Policies

Participants must register at least two weeks in advance of the event unless otherwise noted.

Only those registered will be allowed into the event space.

COVID-19 Policies
At this time, we do not require COVID-19 vaccinations or negative COVID-19 tests to attend events. We are continuing to monitor and follow all local, state & federal guidance, which is subject to change.

Photo Release for attendance at Training Events

I hereby release and hold harmless Network for Youth Success from any reasonable expectation of privacy or confidentiality associated with the images specified above. I further acknowledge that my participation is voluntary and that I will not receive financial compensation of any type associated with the taking or publication of these photographs or participation in Network for Youth Success marketing materials or other Network for Youth Success publications. I acknowledge and agree that publication of said photos confers no rights of ownership or royalties whatsoever.  I hereby release Network for Youth Success, its contractors, its employees, and any third parties involved in the creation or publication of marketing materials, from liability for any claims by me or any third party in connection with my participation.
