The distance learning School-Age Care Credential Prep Course helps students prepare to earn the New York State SAC Credential by learning about excellence in before- and after-school programming for children, and by completing SAC Credential Requirements.

The Network for Youth Success also provides mandatory training for SAC Credential

Advisors to ensure that Candidates get the support they need to succeed in earning their SAC Credential. This training covers:

• SAC Credential Process
• Role and Responsibilities of the Advisor
  • Observing Candidates
  • Coaching for quality improvement and credential success
  • Reviewing/Supporting Candidate Documentation
  • Coaching for Assessment Visit

After registering (no cost), you will be able to use “Moodle” – the portal used – to access the SAC Distance Learning Credential Prep and the Credential Advisor Training Courses, offered by the Network for Youth Success.
