It is vital that child care workers provide support to young people and their families to prevent adverse childhood experiences. In the training, participants will reflect upon ACEs. They will review the impact of ACEs and discuss key preventive strategies to support young people and their families.
Objective: By the end of the training, participants should be able to
- Define Adverse Childhood Experiences
- State the impact of ACEs on the brain and behavior
- List ways that childcare providers can support young people
