Description: Apply strategies used to support documentation of STEM concepts in multiple formats, particularly symbols, drawings, models, diagrams, charts, tables, text or non-verbal means. This workshop is designed to help participants engage youth in documentation, which is an important communication and planning tool in STEM learning. Join PD Director Timothy Fowler in this active workshop to experience methods you can use to get youth to capture and document their thinking processes and visualize information.

Goal: To learn and apply different methods of documentation of STEM activities

Objectives:

• Apply multiple methods of documentation in STEM learning
• Examine different methods of documentation youth can use
• Plan to engage youth in using those methods of documentation after the training event
