DESCRIPTION:Join Margaret Liberti for a Director Training on how to engage your students using STEM practices. Covers OCFS area 1 and 3. \nStaggering Science. A scary thought? Or an exhilarating thought? Learn techniques on how to engage your students in STEM curriculum without fear. Tips for helping students to overcome their own fears and engagement of yourself and students will be the main focus. \nPolicies \n◆ This training is offered to you at no cost through funds from the Capital Region Expanded Learning Opportunities Network. ◆ Those who register and do not attend or leave early will be charged a $20.00 fee. ◆ Those not registered (including children) will not be permitted into the training space. ◆ Trainers have the right and responsibility to refuse credit for attendance to anyone who does not stay for the entire session\, or who does not participate fully. ◆ A $25 fee will be charged on all returned payments.  \nPhoto Release \nI hereby release and hold harmless Network for Youth Success from any reasonable expectation of privacy or confidentiality associated with the images specified above. I further acknowledge that my participation is voluntary and that I will not receive financial compensation of any type associated with the taking or publication of these photographs or participation in Network for Youth Success marketing materials or other Network for Youth Success publications. I acknowledge and agree that publication of said photos confers no rights of ownership or royalties whatsoever.
