COVID-19 Vaccine Q&A for Afterschool Staff

February 24, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

- FREE

The COVID-19 vaccine is now available for childcare and school-age childcare providers in New York State.

Despite eligibility, we know that many of our friends and colleagues are hesitant to receive the vaccine. If you still have questions, we want to help you get answers.

The NYS Network for Youth Success invites you and your team to a conversation about the available vaccines. Join to hear from a panel of medical and public health experts who are ready to answer your questions and help you make an informed decision.

Panelists:

– Jackie Dozier, community health & well-being program manager, Common Ground Health, Rochester, NY

– Dr. Lynne Holden, co-founder and president of Mentoring in Medicine, Inc (MIM), headquartered in the Bronx, NY

– Clement Nsiah, Ph.D., M.S, director of population health & evaluation, BestSelf Behavioral Health, Buffalo, NY

– Dr. Steven Schulz, MD, Rochester Regional Health Ambulatory pediatric medical director for Monroe & Ontario Counties, and practicing pediatrician for RRH’s Finger Lakes Medical Associates, Geneva, NY

This event will feature remarks by Mark Levine, chair of the New York City Council Committee on Health.

Additional resources and recorded information sessions on the COVID-19 vaccine are available at: https://networkforyouthsuccess.org/home/covid-19-resources/covid-19-vaccine-information/.

This event will be recorded.
