Our goal is to increase awareness about the unblieveable benefits of the afterschool field on a statewide scale using individuals who represent\, support\, or participate in afterschool programs. We ask you to print out the “I love afterschool because…” template and tell us why you love afterschool by posting it on your own social media using #ILoveAfterschool2020\, or by sending it to us at Capacity@NetworkForYouthSuccess.org and allowing us to post on your behalf! \n  \nRemember if you picture include children in them\, be sure to have written consent from their parents\, or legal guardians.

SUMMARY:Front Line Training: Outdoor Direct and Competent Outdoor Supervision
DESCRIPTION:Join Breya Broddie for a front line training on Outdoor Direct and Competent Outdoor Supervision that covers OCFS areas 3\, 4\, and 7. \nDecription  \nIn this training we will discuss the importance of effective supervision in outdoor spaces. We review the regulations\,as well as common areas of concern while supervising outdoor activities. We will end by brainstorming solutions to your supervision issues. \nPolicies \n◆ This training is offered to you at no cost through funds from the Capital Region Expanded Learning Opportunities Network. ◆ Those who register and do not attend or leave early will be charged a $20.00 fee. ◆ Those not registered (including children) will not be permitted into the training space. ◆ Trainers have the right and responsibility to refuse credit for attendance to anyone who does not stay for the entire session\, or who does not participate fully. ◆ A $25 fee will be charged on all returned payments. \nPhoto Release \nI hereby release and hold harmless Network for Youth Success from any reasonable expectation of privacy or confidentiality associated with the images specified above. I further acknowledge that my participation is voluntary and that I will not receive financial compensation of any type associated with the taking or publication of these photographs or participation in Network for Youth Success marketing materials or other Network for Youth Success publications.
