The Site Leader Institute (SLI) Part 2 is a new offering from the Network for Youth Success. This six- part Institute covers all-new content from the original SLI. Learn:
- To prepare meeting agendas and structures in order to make meetings productive and effective
- To summarize best practices of hiring and onboarding
- To identify actions as a manager that create a positive culture
- To adapt effective managerial practices to a youth-serving workplace
- To implement changes in policies and practices for the betterment of children, employees, and the organization
- To apply concepts of self-care and work-life balance in one’s own work and life
This content is new and different from the first Site Leader Institute, but will cover practical applications of knowledge for managers and leaders in youth-serving programs. You can take either Institute first, one is not a pre-requisite for the other.
The SLI Part 2 will run six consecutive weeks. Each session will be three (3) hours long, with two fifteen (15) minute breaks built in. The Fall 2026 session with be on Thursdays, 10 AM to 1 PM, on November 5th, 12th, and 19th, and December 3rd, 10th, and 17th (no class on Thanksgiving day).
The SLI Part 2 is a total of 15 total training hours.
