Previous Updates
The primary regulations impacting afterschool programs in New York are the Office of Children and Family Services’ (OCFS) School-Age Child Care (SACC) regulations. We will update this page with current updates on state regulations accordingly.
Revised SACC regulations were issued in November 2014 and took effect on June 1, 2015. More information and the revised regulations can be found on OCFS’s website.
The Network for Youth Success represented the perspectives of its members to OCFS in advocating for streamlined SACC regulations that protect children’s safety and promote high-quality programming.
