Jenn Kennedy lives in Oswego County and has worked with youth and families for nearly 20 years. Jenn’s employment began working as a peer in Oswego County Opportunities, Inc.’s (OCO) Drop In Center and Street outreach programming. Jenn stayed with OCO throughout her college years while she attended SUNY Oswego’s English (Creative Writing) program. Jenn has worked as a Runaway/Homeless Youth Care Manager and a Health Educator but has spent the bulk of her tenure working in afterschool. Jenn has been in her current position as OCO's After School Program Manager for three years. Jenn values youth, families, and her community and is dedicated to the programs and partnerships that support them - both as an afterschool provider and a parent. Jenn is looking forward the Power of 3:00 program to develop her advocacy and outreach skills to effectively promote quality programming. Jenn is excited to work on bringing community stakeholders together to ensure that youth and families can rely on the availability of quality, enriching programs in their own communities.
