Dahmein McFadden is the Chief Program Officer for Row New York. He is a native of Harlem, New York City, and has been involved in the non-profit sector since the age of 15. Dahmein got his start in Youth Work as a Summer Youth Employment Program participant at a summer camp in East Harlem. Throughout his career, he has held leadership positions at several major New York City youth development organizations, including Harlem Children’s Zone, Phipps Community Development Corporation, YMCA and City Year. Dahmein holds a B.A. in Education from UCLA, a Master’s in Social Psychology with a concentration in Conflict Resolution from Teachers College of Columbia University. Dahmein also served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. Dahmein is really excited about becoming a Power of 3:00 Ambassador because of the opportunity to help create change and educate New Yorkers on improving the quality of youth and community development.
