Inspiring, Preparing, Supporting: A Summit on Afterschool, Summer, and Expanded Learning Opportunities for New York’s Students
The Network for Youth Success (NYSAN at the time) convened a group of well over 150 legislators, afterschool and summer leaders, educators, funders, regulators, and community stakeholders for Inspiring, Preparing, Supporting on January 14th, 2014 at the Empire State Concourse in Albany. An impressive array of elected officials, educators, and business and law enforcement leaders spoke about the impact of afterschool programs on their lives, the lives of the children and families they work with, and their communities.
