New York State Network for Youth Success: Power of 3:00 Ambassadors
Are you passionate about afterschool, summer, and other expanded learning programs? Would you like to learn how to turn that passion into action and be a better advocate for New York’s children and families? If so, apply to join the New York State Network for Youth Success’ second cohort of Power of 3:00 Ambassadors and become one of 10 dedicated advocates for afterschool, summer, and expanded learning!
The New York State Network for Youth Success is holding our third year of the Power of 3:00 Ambassador program where passionate afterschool, summer, and expanded learning providers and supporters from across New York will work directly with staff from the Network’s Policy Department to develop the advocacy and media skill set to become effective advocates for the children and youth they serve.
Ambassadors will be required to attend a two-day training in Albany in September, host one Lights On Afterschool event on National Lights On Afterschool Day, attend our annual Advocacy Day in Albany, host a springtime advocacy event, and participate in Power of 3:00 Ambassador update calls.
