State Regulations

The primary regulations impacting afterschool programs in New York are the Office of Children and Family Services’ (OCFS) School-Age Child Care (SACC) regulations.

Revised regulations were issued in November, 2014 and take effect June 1, 2015. More information and the revised regulations can be found on OCFS’s website.

The Network for Youth Success represents the perspectives of its members to OCFS in advocating for streamlined SACC regulations that protect children’s safety and promote high-quality programming.
